Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Render3D handles account, project, authorized app, and Discord bot data.

Summary

Render3D is a browser-based 3D workspace for generating, editing, sharing, and collaborating on CAD models. We collect the information needed to run accounts, save projects, process app integrations, and provide support.

We do not sell personal data. We use connected apps only for the features you authorize, such as Discord alerts, marketplace payouts, cloud CAD workflows, and backup storage.

Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, display name, profile avatar, handle, and authentication provider details.
  • Project information: project names, files, generated CAD source, model artifacts, prompts, comments, collaboration events, and workspace metadata.
  • Usage and support information: app activity, feature interactions, error traces, feedback reports, screenshots you upload, and messages sent to Render Agent or support.
  • Authorized app information: connection status and identifiers returned by providers such as Discord, Google, Stripe, PayPal, Phantom, Autodesk, or Onshape.

Discord bot and app privacy

The Render3D Discord app lets you connect a Discord account so the Render bot can send notifications, such as project chat mentions, admin/support replies, and product announcements where enabled.

When you connect Discord, Render3D may store:

  • Your Discord user ID.
  • Your Discord username or display name.
  • Your Discord avatar URL, if Discord provides one.
  • The time your Discord account was linked or updated.

The bot may process Discord message events only for features that require it, such as mention alerts or reply support. We use this information to deliver Render3D notifications and keep account links working. We do not sell Discord data.

You can unlink Discord in Render3D under Preferences → Advanced → Authorized apps. Unlinking removes the stored association between your Render3D account and Discord account.

Google Drive backup storage

Render3D may offer Google Drive as an authorized backup storage target for project exports, model files, and recovery snapshots. When enabled, we request only the Google permissions needed for the backup feature shown in the app.

You can disconnect or reconnect authorized apps from Preferences. If a backup feature is still being configured, the app may show the Google account connection before Drive file sync is fully active.

How we use information

  • To create and secure your account.
  • To save, load, generate, share, and collaborate on projects.
  • To operate AI CAD, rigging, marketplace, cloud CAD, and notification features.
  • To respond to support requests, feedback, bug reports, and safety issues.
  • To diagnose reliability, security, billing, and performance problems.

Sharing and third-party services

Render3D uses service providers for authentication, hosting, AI processing, payments, Discord notifications, cloud CAD connections, and email delivery. We share information with those providers only as needed to provide the requested feature.

Public marketplace listings, public profiles, public shared models, and public updates may be visible to other users or visitors based on the visibility settings you choose.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and project data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal requirements, prevent abuse, and preserve backups. You can request deletion or correction of personal information by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and disconnect integrations you no longer use.
